Poet, Songwriter turned Children’s Book Author introduces a Reading and Coloring Book. Just in time for the Holidays! Written by Miso Agogo, Honey in The Woods is a coloring story about a little girl who ventures into the woods and stumbles upon a small house nestled in the trees where she meets three bears. Honey in The Woods is a current depiction of a child’s curiosity while driving literacy by introducing elements like foreign language. The book is a beautiful and interactive mix of storytelling, coloring, vocabulary and Spanish. It touches on friendship and the affects of parenting dynamics. Like Miso, many parents, guardians, and educators understand the benefits of children learning a second language, but equally understand, “A pervasive lack of knowledge about foreign cultures and foreign languages threatens the security of the United States as well as its ability in the global marketplace to produce an informed citizenry.
